REMARKABLE LEADERSHIP

Remarkable Leadership is a book about leadership but not a specific philosophy. It is a book that joins leadership skill development with learning principles and recognizes the real-life working realities of its readers. This book will provide a framework and a mechanism for both learning new things and applying what they already know in a useful, thoughtful and practical way. It will guide readers through thirteen leadership competencies, inviting them to learn about the skills and offering them approaches to apply skills in their hectic, multitasking, overloaded, working lives. This book is based on Eikenberry’s Remarkable Leadership Learning System, a product designed as an ongoing process to help people at all levels become more proficient in their role as a leader. It is designed around the realities of working and learning including focus, limited time, incremental improvement and how we learn. Remarkable Leadership readers will be given a plan for focusing on one of 12 competencies each month. The thirteenth competency the Remarkable Leader Learns Continuously is overarching and will be introduced first and incorporated throughout the book.
